Adam I. Green has heavy experience in labor and employment counseling and litigation. He has worked for both plaintiff and defense side firms and organizations in the areas of union contract negotiations, contract grievances, and wage and hour.
Adam focuses his practice at Littler on wage and hour class and collective litigation and advice/counseling. He has defended class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and corresponding state laws in New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Missouri, and other states. He has also provided advice and counsel to employers to help them stay in compliance with state, federal, and local wage and hour laws. Adam works with employers to devise successful strategies for investigations, compliance issues, reductions in force and business restructuring, disciplinary matters, policies and procedures, accommodations, leaves, investigations, employee and management training, and other workplace actions.
Adam also has experience responding to government audits. He has defended government audits relating to prevailing wage, earned sick and safe time, wage theft, and frequency of pay issues, among others.
Prior to working at Littler, Adam enforced employment laws with the State of Minnesota’s Department of Labor and Industry, focusing specifically on construction labor and prevailing wage matters.
