Alyssa S. Gonnerman counsels and represents a wide range of employers in various aspects of labor and employment law. Alyssa has litigated, arbitrated, and mediated disputes before administrative agencies, arbitration forums, and state and federal courts in Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Her litigation experience includes matters involving:

  • Discrimination and harassment
  • Retaliation and whistleblower claims
  • Wrongful discharge and public policy claims
  • Contract claims

Her litigation successes include:

  • Argued before the 8th Circuit an appeal of a motion to grant summary judgment to a healthcare client and successfully upheld the grant of summary judgment
  • Won an arbitration alleging sexual harassment and retaliation claims
  • Obtained a complete award in favor of a financial industry client before FINRA on eight claims, including discrimination, harassment and contract claims
  • Successfully compelled several cases into arbitration in Missouri state court

Alyssa is a member of Littler’s Healthcare Practice Group.
